There are unconfirmed reports that the leader of the armed wing of the Mujahideen Khalq, Massoud Rajavi, has fled to France shortly after the outbreak of the conflict in Iraq and that he was here with his new wife. Rajavi was already expelled from France for terrorist activities in the early 1980s and it is unlikely he could have returned here legally.
Regarding this issue, there are confirmed reports that Mojahedin have banned their members from entering their headquarters in Aur-Sur-Oise since the beginning of April 2003 and this can be due to the presence of an important person there.
