Different news agencies and news TV channels, such as Reuters, Washington Post, ABC news, AFP, Foxnews and New York Times reported the news of Mojahedin-e Khalq bases being bombed by US planes during today and yesterday.
Reuters, according to NewYork Times, stated that: a US official reported on Wednesday that US troops have attacked the bases of Iranian opposition group Mojahedin-e Khalq.
This newspaper quoted this official saying: “this group has supported Saddam and this provides it as a legitimate target for US troops.”
This reports adds that US has bombed this group’s Ashraf base, 60 miles north of Baghdad and also two other bases in Iraq.
Mohammed Mohaddesin, one of the main members of Mojahedin-e Khalq told NY Times that Mojahedin’s bases have been bombed several times by the US.
