PUK TV announced in a report that following the US-led air raids against Iraq a number of Mojahedin bases were severely bombarded. These bases were hit during the bombardment of Iraqi cities of Khaniqin and Al-Amare.
This report adds that there were severe damages to Iraqi forces and a lot of Mojahedin forces were killed or wounded.
BBC also reports the British official’s determination for targeting Mojahedin and their bases.
BBC adds that Iraqis oppositions (such as Shiites and Kurds) hate this group and consider this group as the partner of Iraq’s security system. So, if they come to power their destiny is clear.”
While US and EU have introduced this group as a terrorist organization, it is hardly possible that a country may accept them as refugees.
