UNHCR office in London says is ready to return MKO members to Iran
Al-Hayat newspaper in London reported that Iraq’s UNHCR in London is ready to return MKO members to Iran.
Yaqub Al-Hallu, the head of Iraq’s UNHCR, encouraging Iraqi refugees to return to their homeland, said the security problems in Iraq are the main obstacles for the returning of Iraqi immigrants.
Al-Hallu, speaking at a press conference in London, pointed to the issue of MKO’s presence in Iraq and stressed that UNHCR is ready to help MKO members to return their country.
He said: “Iran has reassured that it’s ready to give necessary guarantees and it has released public pardon for women and kids.
