Iraq's Television announced on Tuesday night that Egypt and Iraq's neighboring countries want MKO terrorist bases be removed from Iraq. The foreign ministers of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria, Turkey and Kuwait asked Iraqi governing council to remove the bases of this terrorist organization.
Iraqi television said these people who are dependent to the terrorist organization of Mojahedin, are still active but it didn't point to the kind of activity. It added: foreign ministers of neighboring countries asked Baghdad to change its way and asked for new relations with Iraq.
U.S. secretary of State had earlier put MKO in the list of foreign terrorist organizations but Pentagon is still supporting them as a close ally.
MKO is accused of bombing and sabotage in Iraq and also suppressing Kurds and Shiites in Iraq.
