French security service has been following MKO financial accounts for 2 years. A part of this money has been sent to Iran
French security service has been following MKO financial accounts for 2 years. A part of this money has been sent to Iran. DSD agents know that 10 million dollars have been transferred to France from Iraq. Mojahedin have transferred much money to Yemen since 2001 which is interesting for agents in France, and FBI also wants to trace the money. There's no doubt this money has been transferred according to the terrorist purposes of this group. France has questioned MKOs about Saddam properties. Albayan newspaper wrote according to French security agents that a part of 8 million dollars which were found in MKO bases are from Iraqi properties. In Iraqi newspapers on April 13, 2003 it was announced that much money has been transferred to other countries. Then, In French security forces' raids on MKO bases in Paris found most of this money. This shows that the transfer of money has been done by the order of Saddam Hussein. This paper quotes Samad Pakzad, a MKO member who had been detained by French police and was released later, saying: the investigations of French security agents were focused on the source of millions of dollars which was found in Paris.
