Kamal kharrazi, Iranian FM, said the U.S. act in shutting down the offices of MKO in the U.S. is a positive act. Kharrazi said that this shows that the U.S. accepts its international responsibility. However, he said that Washington should have acted earlier against NCRI.
Kharrazi said: "in order to eradicate terrorism, all countries and the U.S. should encounter with this phenomenon."
Secretary of State Colin Powell on Friday shut down the Washington offices of the National Council of Resistance of Iran and the Mujahedeen Khalq. This group claims it has given good information to the U.S. on Iran's nuclear programs. Kharrazi said that the U.S. should have encountered this group earlier according the list it has.
