Al-Arabia TV network, in a panel discussion (called Belmersad) and with 3 experts, discussed the issue of Mojahedin. Mr. Mehrdad Khansari, one of the guests, said: "Mojahedin is a terrorist group and France, which considers this group a terrorist according the decision of EU, has attacked them. Mojahedin have become confused due to this attack. This group is not a threat to Iran and Iran is not considering it. All in all, we can say that the purpose of France was to prove its pledge to the EU."
Mr. As'ad Haydar, famous journalist, said of France's act: "some say that this is a gift from France to Iran government, but it's not so. This has nothing to do with the current events in Iran. On the other hand, journalists and media will not support Mojahedin, even if they go on with hunger-strike or self-immolations. This group has a military part which has performed terrorist operations and even when Khatami entered France it acted with sabotage purposes".
