MKO elements claimed that Zia Atabay has received money from Ali Rabiyee for showing the film! They pressed him so that he had to apologize from Mojahedin and say that he had not reviewed the film!!
Iranian Satellite TV channel "NITV", directed by Zia Atabay, showed last week a report about the meeting of defectors in Paris. Afraid of revelations by defectors, Mojahedin attacked Zia Atabay by their phone calls, faxes, emails and websites and, as usual, attributed him to the Iranian regime. MKO members claimed that Zia Atabay, in a trip to Paris, has receive money from Ali Rabiyee for broadcasting the film. They put him under a heavy pressure so that he was forced to apologize from Mojahedin and said that he had receive the film from one of his friends and that he had not reviewed it!! While being frightened of the reflection of reports about this meeting, Mojahedin have announced that there were only 40 people in the meeting and that European countries have introduced these people as the agents of Iranian regime! It's notable that media paid much attention to this meeting of defectors and it was called "an important event."
