most of the members of this group left it after learning the real policies of the group which alienated it with Iran's social and political atmosphere.
In parts of his article, this Iraqi writer says:
"After political stability of Islamic Republic which was brought by free elections some groups, that had played a role against the Shah regime, took policies to get back their so-called "lost rights" and have a stronger role in the state.
One of these groups was Mojahedin-e Khalq. It has been called "Monafiqin" (hypocrites) due to the crimes it has done against the innocent people of Iran. In addition, it joined some movements and groups unacceptable for most of Iranians.
So, such groups, changed from internal critic to opponents of policies of Iran and took the way of pressing Iranian policies.
It's notable that most of the members of this group (Mojahedin-e Khalq) expressed regret for being dependent to it after they learn the real policies of this group.
