A US general said Mojahedin-e khalq is terrorist org. but won't be investigated due to Geneva Convention
According to the comments of an American General, the US considers Mojahedin-e Khalq as terrorists but it doesn't detain or investigate them.
Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper has published an interview with this US general (who's asked for anonymity) in which some information about Iraqi detainees has been revealed.
This general, who's one of the officials of Detainees' Affairs in Iraq, said about Mojahedin-e Khalq: "the stance of the US toward this organization has not changed. The US still considers this group as a terrorist organization but now we look at them as people who are protected by Fourth Geneva Convention. So, we have put them in a camp 100 Km from Baghdad. They're not detainees and will be investigated."
