MKO Members' families gathered before Red Cross office in Tehran on Thursday and then moved toward the Swiss embassy (protector of US interests in Iran). These families, who carried placards reading "Terrorist MKO Leaders should be tried""we want our loved ones back""down with Rajavi's terrorist cult" and also the pictures of their relatives who are now in Camp ashraf, asked for meeting Swiss ambassador to Tehran.
After a long time, two representatives were called to go inside the embassy.
These two representatives submitted a letter to the ambassador and asked for stepping up actions on determining the final fate of Mojahedin and its members by ICRC. They also asked for facilitation of meeting between families and their relatives in Camp Ashraf- without the supervision of MKO leaders.
One of the demonstrators told IRNA: "our loved ones are now living in a suffocating situation in Iraq and are not allowed to act freely."
Shahla Masoodi, whose brother's now detained by MKO, said: "we ask Swiss embassy, as the embassy of a peace-seeking country, and Mr. ambassador, as the protector of US interests in Iran, to manage a meeting of families with their loved ones under the supervision of ICRC- not MKO leaders."
