UK Foreign Office: There's no interest to help the MKO and any kind of collaboration with this group is illegal. Reuters reported from the US on Thursday that a number of British diplomats currently, or previously, serving in Iran have met Nicholas Burns, Deputy Secretary of State in Washington to discuss the issue of "promoting democracy in Iran". Burns coordinates US policies on Iran. Foreign Office's spokesperson didn't give the name and possible activities which may be supported by Washington but he claimed that the talks were not new and that such meetings have always been held. On the Mojahedin-e Khalq, he said: "This organization is a terrorist group and there's no interest to help it.
