To end Rajavi hostage, UN special envoy, instead of asking Rajavi to issue a command to cooperation of the residents of Camp Liberty, should accomplish his legal obligations and conduct interviews with every residents of the camp. Of course, according to the policy and ideology of UNHCR in refugee camps around the world, Mr. Kobler should not allow foreign forces to interfere in the status of camp residents.

Iran Didban

On March 16, News agencies around the world reported that the Albanian government, at the behest of UN and America, has announced its willingness accept 210 members of the MeK terrorist group. Immediately, the MeK leadership's opposition to transfer of these numbers to Albania was released. The MeK's announcement reiterates that any solution must involve very immediate transfer of all the 3000 residents of camp Liberty.

This stance that blocks transfer of the MeK members to Europe aligns with the group's opposition with the UN special envoy to Iraq and obstruct in the UN interview process.

Therefore, in order to play down Martin Kobler's efforts in the case of Albania, Maryam Rajavi through a quite irrelevant argument, claims that Albanian readiness to accept MeK members had been proposed at the Ministry of Hillary Clinton and she has rejected it.

These positions clearly show that the MeK leadership at any cost seeks to impede UN actions, especially, direct access of UNHCR representatives to the Liberty residents.

However, besides all the actions of the MeK leadership in order to tense and complex the situation and among the ambiguities, and speculations about aims of Rajavi's remnants, one thing is clear; the fact that Camp Liberty residents are hostages of their leadership's acquisitiveness which, ultimately, is nothing but maintaining his wretched organization.

To end this hostage, UN special envoy, instead of asking Rajavi to issue a command to cooperation of the residents of Camp Liberty, should accomplish his legal obligations and conduct interviews with every residents of the camp. Of course, according to the policy and ideology of UNHCR in refugee camps around the world, Mr. Kobler should not allow foreign forces to interfere in the status of camp residents.
