On September 3, 2004, a German newspaper revealed more details of espionage in Pentagon. In a part of the report, we read:
"Iran said on Tuesday that it has arrested dozens of nuclear spies. These spies have been in contact with Mujahideen-e Khalq, which was supported by former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein and attacked Iran from its bases in Iraq, and occasionally revealed Iranian secrets in press conferences.
Mujahideen has been labeled as terrorist group in the US, but it has supporters in Pentagon.
There are some evidences about "Larry Franklin", indicating his close ties with Mujahideen-e Khalq."
