MKO’s efforts to delay Iraqi election and bring tension between Sunnis and Shiites have failed.
Common efforts of Baathists and Mojahedin-e khalq to hinder Iraqi elections- which has been welcomed by Iraqis- was failed when Jordanian government withdrew from its claims against Shiites.
Mojahedin hoped that they could bring tension between Shiites and Sunnis on the issue of elections but Iraqi people have chosen their way to establish a stable democratic government.
