In 1983, MKO helped Iraqis to hit Iranian cities, including Tabriz. Later, when we were in Camp Ashraf, they showed me a space map of Tabriz and asked me to mark the military locations. He also reveals that Mojahedin cooperated with Iraqi secret services and took part in providing the security of Saddam election…
In 2001, Mojahedin conducted a military operation called “Sahar” (Dawn) in which veteran members should recruit loyal forces from their families and relatives and take them to Iraq. It seemed that the loyal force should go to the group by his own will, while all of these few people who were recruited during this operation were taken to MKO Iraqi camps by dirty tricks. Massoud Taghipourian was one of these people, who was invited to leave Germany to Iraq to meet his aunt (one of the members of MKO’s Leadership Council). There, he fell in the trap. But he saw the groups relations as inhumane and betrayal and stood against them. He describes the culture of the cult as follows: Rajavi’s system convinced members that to solve their moral and sexual affairs they should express them in public and insisted that members’ mental pressures will be decreased by recalling things in ugliness of which no one doubts. However, the situation of members didn’t change but each day it got worse. Later, I found that they do this, not to decrease the pressure of members but to pressurize them more than before and to unsettle their mental balance and to control them. Mehdi Abrishamchi always said explicity that “self-satisfaction and sexual affairs are human beings’ natural issues and we don’t say you shouldn’t have them, we say that you come and tell us. We should know that our women may do dirty works and our kids may become addicted and commit crimes, but we accept these things only for the sake of struggle and there’s no problem with it. But you shouldn’t have untold issues.” Organization’s behaviors were based on lying and deception. I can remember that once Marzieh had come to the place we were. She had come there while no one was allowed to meet her directly. Fahimeh Arvani and Fereshteh Shojayee ordered me to go on the podium and talk about her. But I had nothing to say about her. They ordered me to go and say that we sang her songs in prison during 80s (but it wasn’t true). They wanted to do this in order to give her motives!! Taghipourian, in a part of his interview, refers to the dependence of MKO on Iraq and says: In 1983, MKO helped Iraqis to hit Iranian cities, including Tabriz. Later, when we were in Camp Ashraf, they showed me a space map of Tabriz and asked me to mark the military locations. He also reveals that Mojahedin cooperated with Iraqi secret services and took part in providing the security of Saddam election…
