These requests clearly show that MKO lies- on their small gathering before the UN (when Ahmadinejad had traveled to New York) that was announced a 20000 strong demo and later in Stockholm (with 300 people) that was announced a 35000 strong assembly- have totally failed and that they can no longer deceive the people.
These days, Maryam Rajavi, as the representative of Rajavi’s remnants, has been asking the world community to apply sanctions on Iran and take its nuclear case to the UN Security Council. For instance, after the Conference of Islamic Countries and Ahmadinejad’s comments on Israel, Maryam Rajavi repeated the request of her group and said that “the words are not enough for the international community and that the world should initiate all-out sanctions against Iran”. This reflects the MKO’s strategy, which is in fact “praying for Western Countries’ move against Iran.” Rajavi’s remnants also tried, in Mojahed newspaper (Vol.33, December 13), to focus on the strategy of “request” and under the name of “Condemnations Is Not Enough”, they wrote: “As far as the world community is concerned, it should be concluded that condemnation is not enough for this brutal regime, which is not bound to any of international norms. Mullah’s dictatorship should be boycotted and sanctions should be imposed on them for violating human rights, exporting terrorism and fundamentalism as well as trying to get to nukes.” Such requests, which reflect how desperate this criminal band is, are signs of the failure of MKO’s propaganda on having popular supporting inside and outside Iran. Therefore, Rajavi’s remnants are expressing their requests openly and they have no shame to show their appeasement for Zionist warmongers. These requests prove that they have neither popular support nor influential power, otherwise they would never waited for Ahmadinejad’s comments and reactions from the west. If the MKO had been a powerful group, it would have acted by itself to win the attention of the so-called world community. After failure of all MKO tricks and appeasements, Rajavi’s remnants have taken a new role in Israel’s plot against Lebanon and Syria. Along with Israel, they try to instigate the US to attack the Syria in order to the preserve the fire of war in the region. This approach will be more revealed in the near futre.
