bombings and attacks were done by the order of the US and UK. And the cooperation of MKO with Saddam shouldn't be ignored
According to Mehr News, Sunday Times wrote that a number of former Iraqi army officers revealed the wide cooperation of western countries, especially the US, with Iraq during its war against Iran. Brigadier General Hassan, former commander in Iraq air force, said: "Eight month before Saddam's attack against Iran, the war was planned and all Iraqi forces were ordered to be ready for the attack." He added: "by assistance of some political groups, opposing Iran, we could receive good intelligence on the military condition of Iran and all analysis indicated that Iranian army is not ready and it suggested this feeling that Iraq will be the final winner of the war. Lt. Gen. Rabbah, another former experienced Iraqi commander, said: "Attacking and bombing Iranian cities during war's three final years were done by the direct order of the US and UK and by the green light of France. Americans gave satellite photos to Iraqi army. MKO's cooperation was very effective and Saddam was not alone in the crimes committed." He also disclosed the pressure of the US and UK on Red Cross and said that he had witnessed 4000 Iranian captives dying under Iraqi tortures but Red Cross remained silent due to the pressure of these two countries.
