"Mujahideen, symbol of prostitution", an Arab writer says
Iraqi writer Dr. Mahand Al-Barak, in his article "For the Leader, even if Expensive", referring to the past events in Iraq –especially the uprising of Shiites and Kurds- and the role of Mujahideen-e khalq in suppressing Iraqi people, says: "the historical memory of Iraqi people and elites is not that weak to forget the crimes of this group."
He quotes parts of "Kitab Al-Iraq", by Hana Batatu, saying:
"Brutal Ba'th regime of Saddam insulted youths and deceived them so as to recruit them in military teams. Saddam forced them to stay against the revolutionary forces, and they killed Iraqi people. Regime had convinced them that they are standing against the enemies of the nation and Arabs. Meanwhile terrorism organization of Muajhideen-e khalq entered the scene with thousands of its forces and massacred Iraqi people. Mujahideen, who were seeking their benefits in our dear Iraq, we welcomed by Saddam and added the new term of "Prostitution up to death", and became the symbol of it.
