Desperate remnants of Rajavi's gang, this time by illusionism and citing the ruling of appeals court, try to convince the Belgian government to agree with removal of the group's name from terror list. Meanwhile, with the periodic chairmanship of the EU by France that starts from next month, and by taking advantage of Sarkozi's anti-Iranian stances, political section of Rajavi's gang has mobilized to appear as a bargaining chip in Iran-Europe's deals.
Four years ago, when Belgium was the head of the EU, remnants of Rajavi's gang contacted two Belgian senators (announced by MEK as 82 senators!) and tried to make the government of Belgium initiate efforts in order to remove MEK's name from terror lists. At that time, Rudi Huygelen, Belgian foreign minister's spokesperson, replied to these two that the Belgian government had no intention to ask the EU to remove MEK's name from terror list. MEK's activities were so loathsome and unbelievable that even Belgian MPs reacted. Karen Pinksten, the head of Parliament's foreign policy commission called the MEK a terrorist group and declared that the EU has put the group in its terror list. However, once again and after the ruling of Europe's first court of instance on the group, Belgium disclosed its harsh stance on the group and its supporters across Europe: Belgian foreign minister Karel De Gucht came to the Parliament and said that he would use veto right in the EU council in order to prevent the removal of MEK's name from terror list. Following the harsh stance of government against Rajavi's gang, Josi Doby, Belgian senator and former war reporter, called MEK a terrorist group and said to the European Parliament that he had witnessed MEK's invasion against Iran during eight year Iran-Iraq war. "They claim to be part of a democratic movement, fighting for their land. But what I saw is different," he said. About some Belgian senators' support for the MEK, he said: "Some of my unaware colleagues, influenced by the group's propaganda, invited Maryam Rajavi to come to the Senate and the group claimed to have been officially invited. I reject this. The leading body of the senate refused to meet her." In recent days, we see the activities of terrorist MEK members in Belgium and France! Like pledging in swearing in UK appeals court (to quit violent terrorist acts), remnants of Rajavi's gang try to hid such acts in order to be able to continue their cheating in Belgium and France by using appeals court rule; something with rare chance of success. What should be noted is that hiding these efforts is because they don't want to be revealed by former members. Therefore, it is necessary for all the people familiar with the nature of this terrorist group to publish information about the group and do not let the unawareness of judges in UK court and the deceptions of Rajavi's gang happen again!
